October 2024 Top Trends

From Halloween it-girls to suave suiting, these are the October 2024 top trends that are expected to impact the womenswear, menswear, kids, and beauty markets for months to come.

The top trends of the season are translating into stellar Halloween costumes. Think 60's styles, like go go boots (+293% to LY) and the pucci dress (+83% to LY). Other pieces like the leopard bodysuit (+71% to LY) and goddess dress (+84% to LY) are being used for Halloween, too.

Men’s suiting is growing in popularity once again thanks to wedding + holiday season, particularly when it comes to bespoke suits (+38% to LY). Tailored suits (+53% to LY) and costume suits (+50% to LY) are safe bet trends for the year. And for the fall/winter season, the houndstooth suit is an emerging top-pick, up +48% in searches to last year.

Anti-aging products are on the rise whether it be for the face or body. Currently, wrinkle patches (+279% to LY) and collagen eye creams (+71% to LY) are growing steadily in consumer interest. And for the body, neck tightening cream (+123% to LY) and body firming lotion (+49% to LY) are popular from brands like Dr. Brandt and Philosophy.

While we’re in the depths of fall, backpacks are still booming. Jansport backpacks (+33% to LY) and nylon backpacks (+23% to LY) are basic go-to’s while the trendier students are coming to class with leather backpacks (+25% to LY) or even a fur backpack (+19% to LY).
